Razer's Basilisk V3 Pro wireless has been on the market since 2022, and it still holds up as a top option for PC gamers. Amazon currently has it down to $117.99 from the regular $160 price.

The Xbox Elite Series 2 "Core" controller is the route most value-conscious gamers take if they want to stick with official hardware, but even at a lower price than the standard, non-Core version, you'll pay a lot more than usual.
During Gaming Week, Amazon has knocked the price down to $142.93, which is 21% off the regular price. That's the lowest price since a brief dip last month.
Window Central's Jez Corden reviewed the Xbox Elite Series 2 "Core" controller, remarking:

AMD's Ryzen 9 9900X is a Zen 5 CPU that's perfect for 1440p or 4K gaming in 2025, and it'll also crush professional creative and development work thanks to its 12 cores and 24 threads.
It launched mid-2024, and the discounted price at Amazon during Gaming Week has it doesn to its lowest price ever. Rather than $499, you'll instead pay $364.
Windows Central Senior Editor Ben Wilson reviewed the Ryzen 9 9900X, saying:
"For performance-per-dollar, the Ryzen 9 9900X still beats Intel's Core i9-14900K despite its post-launch price drop, and that could remain the case if AMD reduces the listings in a matching cadence over the coming months. So, even if the playing field were even, AMD would still have the edge on value with the 9900X, at least for the first few months of its availability."

ASUS' 24.5-inch second monitor fodder
That's what I'm talking about — more "normal" gaming monitors instead of glamorous ultrawides for those lucky gamers with gigantic desks. This FHD (1080p) ASUS ROG Strix gaming monitor has a 24.5-inch panel, which is decent for a main screen, but even better to use as a second display that doesn't encroach on your space.
It runs at up to 180Hz refresh rates, so probably sticking around 144Hz if we're realistic, and supports G-Sync to prevent screen tearing. If you're looking for a cheap second screen that doesn't skimp on the essential features for a gaming setup, ASUS has your back. — Ben Wilson

Intel joins the processor party
It's no secret that I prefer Intel's mobile processors over its desktop counterparts, but I won't deny that Team Blue has fantastic CPUs that are generally only countered by their high prices. Well, Intel has its Core i7-12700KF at its lowest-ever $154 for Amazon Gaming Week, and it's hard to find a reason to shun it.
Sure, it's a few generations behind, but you get support for DDR4 and DDR5 memory, meaning your options are pretty generous for building either a budget-friendly rig with previous-gen parts or a mid-range modern PC with up-to-date memory and GPUs.

Is Amazon trying to force me to ditch my multi-monitor setup for a curved screen or what? Here's another ultrawide gaming monitor with a decent discount, and yeah, it's UWQHD (or 3440 x 1440 for humans), so nothing in the 4K range, but I prefer this resolution anyway.
The exciting part is the 34-inch size, which is pretty huge for a monitor closing in on $200. A 1ms response time pairs with AMD FreeSync support for tear-free gameplay running at 144Hz, but you'll miss out on HDR support. Sure, that seems like a lot, but you're getting an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (the best CPU for gaming before the 9800X3D was released), NVIDIA RTX 5080 GPU, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD, and an 850W 80+ Gold PSU.
Considering RTX 5080s currently range in price from about $1,400 to $1,800 (if you can find something in stock), the rest of the build around the GPU isn't that much.

AMD's Ryzen 5 9600X is down to its lowest price ever
While the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is the best discounted CPU right now for gamers, those who don't want to pay extra for 3D V-Cache should check out the Ryzen 5 9600X.
It's a newer chip using the Zen 5 architecture, and it hits performance levels close to the 7800X3D outside of gaming.

PC storage is one area that can always be improved; it never seems like you have enough.
There are few M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs that can offer the same performance-to-value ratio as Samsung's 990 PRO we favorably reviewed at full price, never mind at a discount.
1TB and 2TB models are on sale for the same prices at Newegg and at Best Buy. The smaller capacity is down to $99.99 (from the usual $128) while the 2TB model is down to $169.99 (from the usual $200).

I know, technically, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D stands out as probably the best gaming CPU for your money if you're going all-out, but that doesn't cast any shameful shadow on its monstrous predecessor, the gaming powerhouse Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
Besides, I'm finding it way easier to recommend dropping $390 on the 7800X3D at Amazon than waiting around for re-stocks of the often sold out $479 9800X3D.

It might sound like a broken record, but we're never going to stop highlighting deals on Xbox storage expansion cards if only because modern AAA games are becoming gigantic. 100GB+ installs make my Xbox Series X weep when I'm utterly indecisive on what to play, and the latest mega-blockbuster Oblivion Remastered entry isn't helping things.
