Did this get worse when you were pregnant? by rally 19 y
If it did check out ”why am I always so tired?” by Melissa Smith pregancny causes you to retain copper thus effecting the adrenals. Don’t worry its not in your head, thats bull_____ for we are too stupid to figure out the problem. I had 30 symptoms of AF at one time MDs in general treat symptoms not the problem. I finally found a wholistic MD that diagnosed me with AF, he had just led the horse to the water. 1,710 hits

Hi every one ,I got a little bit confused about AF.Is a condition when the adrenal glands function below necessary level. So does it mean that when we have a test done the cortisol level is low?In My case the cortisol level and DHEA are way to high ,so can I say that I suffer from AF or it is totally different story.I posted My saliva test results before in one of My posts,if any one can look at them and try to explain what they mean.thank you very much. 1,118 hits

HI,Consider Candida in addition to AF, your symtpoms suggest it: painful lymph nodes, severe rash in genital area, sugar & carb addiction. And Hypothyroidism: no sex drive, slow hair loss on head, no energy, weight 130kg,insomnia, constipation, dramatic mood swings, possibly responsible for back and arm pain as being hypothyroid causes joint pain and pain in general. And PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome - not sure if that’s spelt right!): dark hairs on face, not ovutating (possible symptom, but check as I’m not too familiar with this syndrome), weight 130kg, dramatic mood swings ... 1,501 hits

Re: Where is your weight? by sanctuary2

Since starting iodine I have gained around 25 pounds. Initially around 15 pounds and held still at that weight for several months and recently I have gained another 10 or so. At first I attributed it to the iodine, but now I am convinced that it has more to do with stress and AF. I am extremely stressed right now and my AF has gotten much worse, and hence, my weight has gone up.Although I have increased my iodine dosage again very recently, I don’t think it has anything to do with the weight gain. 1,877 hits

Hi Shaun - I can certainly relate to a lot of what you shared about your experience s recovering from AF. I’ve been recovering from it for 14 years, and know how frustrating it can be.I learned about a year ago that I developed a serious case of copper overload along with my AF. When I learned this, it explained why I wasn’t recovering faster, and why I was still experiencing fatigue and depression. I’ve been taking zinc and other supplements to chelate the copper, and they’ve helped a lot.You might want to read ”Why am I Always so Tired” by Ann Louise Gittleman. It clearly ex ... 3,272 hits

Hi Chikitta - I strongly recommend Adrenal Drops and Adrenal Complex Capsules. Both are manufactured by Professional Complementary Health Products of Portland, OR. They made a huge differnce for me when I learned I had AF years ago.People with AF usually have copper overload as well. I’d recommend checking out previous posts on this topic, and http://www.drlwilson.com. Also, ”Why am I Always so Tired?” by Ann Louise Gittleman explains the relationship between AF and copper overload. I hope this helps. 3,134 hits

Adrenal Fatigue exists, and you can learn a lot about it in ”Adrenal Fatigue” by James L. Wilson. ”Optimal Wellness” by Ralph Golan has a chapter on AF, and chapters on related conditions. I’ve spent the last 13 years recovering from a severe case of AF. I found out I had it by taking the saliva test. I’ve read that it is more reliable than the blood test. I’ve read that people can have normal blood tests even when they have severe cases of AF.I’d recommend supplements that help the adrenals function better. Rapid weight loss as adrenal stressor by vociferous

Through aggressive exercise, during the year before I got A.F., I went from 178 lbs to 147. I am 5’ 9”. A marathon finally did me in. What I am wondering is: Can rapid weight loss, in and of itself, contribute to the onset of advanced A.F? I am particularly wondering how rapid weight loss affects the metabolism.Since the body fat has been markedly reduced, and the kidneys/liver/colon could be sluggish, might there be a critical build-up of toxins? In my, non expert opinion, you have Adrenal Fatigue beginning of stage 3.Low Cortisol morning, elevated towards the evening.Low normal DHEA-s. (”pregnenolone stealing” check the diagram).Low sodium. (hormone aldosterone responsible for this)The symptoms you described also point to AF.You may try pupil test. Most probably you will see typical AF reaction. You need vitamins, minerals, drink half teaspoon of sea salt dissolved in a glass of water.Ideally you need a doc who knows how to treat AF. Klauss. 1,057 hits

The lexapro is for my sister, who is hardier than I am. She is falling into AF, but she doesn’t want to spend several years experimenting with natural solutions, falling apart as time goes by. (Like me! Ha ha) She needs immediate intervention, and anxiety (along with it’s accompanying, secondary fatigue and hypoglycemia) is her worst AF symptom. I have AF. I have exactly the same symptoms. AF affects the whole systems including neurotransmitters. I am much better now but still have not gotten my emotions back. I also do not have adrenaline rush when angry, for example. I just do not get angry anymore. You need to do 4 point cortisol salivary test. It’s less expensive than neurotransmitters. I was getting frequent cold sores for a long while during the height of my AF. If so, the cause of your AF and other problems is what’s called Amygdala Hijack. Go to youtube and check out Gupta retraining and The Linden Method. I know that AF throws the sodium/potassium balance of our individuals cells off. I forget the mechanism at work, but the cells become high in potassium and low in sodium, hence the advice of all the AF gurus to consume sea salt throughout the day. This imbalance is also dehydrating because water follows salt, and when the salt is urinated out through the kidneys, the water goes as well. (Or is it vice versa?) 4,497 hits
